New partnership with Village For All

Village For All has designed three inclusive playgrounds by selecting equipment best suited to the needs of children. The proposed playgrounds can thus benefit from the “V4A Approved” label certifying that they meet inclusive accessibility parameters.

The partnership with Village for All aims to create innovative and tailored solutions that enable Italian and international resorts to offer their guests truly transparent accessibility.

Children with disabilities are the first to experience injustice if they cannot play together with all the other children. Parks for All:

For years, Legnolandia has been creating inclusive play spaces by following and implementing the design criteria of ‘Play For All,‘ the European initiative that aims to integrate inclusive accessibility parameters within the general safety names of playgrounds. In fact, almost all Legnolandia facilities are designed to create playgrounds that can be used not only by children with disabilities, but by children with all types of motor and cognitive abilities; all without the need to resort to special play adaptation or help from adults.

Legnolandia’s inclusive products, made from the renewable and sustainable raw material par excellence (Wood), also have the DESIGN FOR ALL Seal of Quality as a guarantee for designers, users, consumers, schools, municipalities and managers of equipped areas.

Recognition of the label took place in 2018 cun an award ceremony held at the Milan Triennale with the following motivations:

• for the attention to energy-saving issues, for the prevalent use of zero-mile raw materials, and for the focus on forest conservation;
• for offering products for children’s playgrounds diversified by type of activity, with special attention to the disadvantaged;
• for outreach to final designers in pursuit of qualities for all in projects that apply their virtuous products;
• in links with regulatory and safeguard bodies, professionals and university institutions, in the quest for the improvement of Sense for All products.
