The new “Nature Sensory Path” has been inaugurated in the Friulian Dolomites.
Suitable for all ages, it allows you to discover the secrets and peculiarities of the Dolomite woods through play and physical activity, in all seasons, involving the 5 senses.
The sensory trail covers a length of 600 meters along the “Children’s Trail” in Forni di Sopra (UD) and includes 20 stations where users can interact in close contact with nature. The equipment, well integrated with the surrounding environment, can be enjoyed in a fun, careful and conscious walk in search of forgotten sensations. The closeness with Nature is constant thanks to the material with which the path was created: wood, the most renewable and natural raw material in the world.
Along the trail it is possible to learn to recognize trees and the magic of photosynthesis, use a natural wooden xylophone, pass a path by walking barefoot to find forgotten sensations, recognize Alpine essences by means of smell, discover and imitate in different forms the ability of animals, and much more. Everything is explained in dedicated illustrated educational panels with instructions on the activities to be performed.
