Record-breaking glulam beams

September 16, 2025: 4 of the longest glulam beams ever made in the world left our Eurostratex plant in Sutrio (UD).

Each of the 4 beams we produced and shipped has a size of 0.25×2.53×40 m and develops a volume of 25 cubic meters and a weight of approximately 125 quintals.

They are destined for a major construction site in central Italy, where they will form the supporting structure of a sports hall.

Record-breaking beams and truly exceptional transport (overall length almost 50 meters) confirm Eurostratex – Legnolandia Group’s – ability to tackle complex construction challenges, creating works of notable architectural and engineering importance by combining innovation, precision, and expertise in the processing of large glulam wood structures.
